Good AHI - Large Leak % High and Still Tired
Hello, I've been compliant for a month now monitoring SPo and recently got a SD card orginal AHI 12. I'm still feeling exhausted during the day and wanted someone to look a my data to see if there are any obvious red flags like the Large Leak percentage I see as high as 51%. I changed the prescribed pressure from 4-7.3 and 10 -12 because of possible deviated septum but use nasal strips. Have an EPR of 1. I'll attach a few days worth of data

Re: Good AHI - Large Leak % High and Still Tired
Welcome! Congratulations on compliance here at the outset of your apnea therapy. That's often not easy, and it's good you're sticking to it.
The next time you post a chart, could you turn off the pie chart? There's a little bit of information that will then come into view. (File - Preferences - Appearance - uncheck the pie box.)
Your apnea is treated in the sense that you are below 5, which is the the low end of the mild-apnea range, but it isn't treated in the sense of being low enough to give you a reasonable chance to get some good sleep.
But the first thing to tackle would be those leaks, because they are high enough and frequent enough to obscure the apnea picture (plus they may be disturbing your sleep). It's hard to be sure, but I would guess you're having leaks from your mouth. Do you think that might be true?
Once you can get the large-leak situation under control, I think the experts will be able to give you some advice about tweaking your settings.

as miss e said, need to get those leaks under control. you may want to cruise over to you tube and search for mask fitting videos specific to your mask. once you've tamed the leaks, you can start on optimizing your therapy.
also, when you get a chance, fill in your equipment profile so your mask and machine appear at the bottom of each of your posts, as it does on mine below.
oh and welcome to the zoo!!

Re: Good AHI - Large Leak % High and Still Tired
Your number one thing to get in order right now would be the leaks.
Those are really bad and they are so bad that the machine might be missing some events. I have been known to let some large leak slide if it is random and rare and not prolonged. Yours are far from random or rare and with half the night in large leak...definitely prolonged.
Are you waking often from the leaks?
Gotta first figure out exactly where they are coming from. Might be mouth opening and might be mask movement.
So...I would tape my mouth for one night and see if it helps reduce the leaks or not.
To fix a problem you first have to identify the problem.
