This is my result from last night. I think I figured out the dry mouth. As I mentioned before, I have never really been able to sleep on my back. The last couple of nights I angled myself on recliner so I could then lay my head mostly sideways on my bed that the recliner is next to. I cannot go fully sideways due to weight of the big and heavy sling I'm in. Now my mouth doesn't open as when on my back.
I've also noticed that I turned the humidity up to 6.0, which is max and temp of 80 degrees when my mouth was dry - the usual was 5.0, any higher and I had water all over. This didn't help on my back with having drymouth. With my head tilted sideways the last two nights, I'm still at 6.0 without water condensing all over, so maybe the meds I'm on are contributing, too.
Two nights ago, the first without drymouth, I had a three hour stretch of sleep. Looks like last night the most was two. Previous to the surgery, I was waking up regularly and turning over to my other side and falling asleep right away. On the recliner, I've only been sleeping a couple hours at a time and then getting up to stretch for a bit.
@palerider I wasn't suggesting that Karen lies, just wanted to know if the claims about helping with dents on face and helping with leaks bore out. It sounds like they do, so I'll order them soon, or get them for my birthday in February.
