Hi, I have attached some screenshots, and hopefully I did it right :)

I gave up on CPAP a few years ago and decided to try it again, because I don't want to die or have a stroke anytime soon.
I'm about 45-60 days in and struggling at times. You all have some great tools and I appreciate it. Overall, I don't feel great from day to day.

Some questions I have:
Looking at last 30 day summary, do leak statistics look ok? because I think they might look bad.

Looking at some dailies, I've been changing the pressure some between 7, 8, 8.5, and 9. I finally turned off the pie chart, because I think it was really screwing up my understanding of the results. I think my AHI is okay (could be better), but that doesn't include my RERA (if I understand it ), which is high, right? I need to get those RERAs down, that could be causing my sleepiness because I'm getting aroused from sleep too much?

Also I see people post on here with a Min/Max pressure, is that something I need to do as well instead of a fixed pressure? Is that because the min/max will compensate for leaks?

Sorry that's a lot of questions, but I appreciate your help and I'm really trying to get this thing under control.

Hi so It looks like images didn’t make it. I read the tutorial on how to make screenshot but I’m confused on how I link the images here. I uploaded to imgur and I put the URL in the IMG tag, should I have used the URL tag?

Edit: I got them to show with attachments instead of links.

To use imgur to show your images...

Log in to your imgur account....click on the image you wish to share...there should be a box with some addresses show up on the right side of the image
Click on large thumbnail...then copy the last line in the box of addresses (linked BBCode) and paste the address in the body of your text...click on "preview" and see if you can see the image....if you can then you click on submit. You can do multiple images if you wish.

You must be logged in to see this box

Your leak numbers are just fine. Respironics machines report total leak (expected vent rate plus excess leak) on that top leak line.
SleepyHead defaults to a ResMed red line threshold number and that number is way too low for a Respironics machine.
ResMed machine report excess leak only...not total leak.

Either change the threshold or turn off using the statistic feature on the left side that shows time over red line threshold.
Preferences/CPAP tab/ and change the 24 L/min threshold to something around 70 L/min which is a more appropriate threshold.
Respironics doesn't ever give us a fixed red line because the threshold actually varies with the mask and pressures used.

The statistic is a SleepyHead calculation....and if the calculation is based on the wrong number the percent of time over the red line will not be accurate.
See the LL line on the top of the events graph? That's the machine's large leak calculation and more reliable than the percent statistic.
If you don't see a LL flag...you didn't have any large leaks per the machine.

You probably need more pressure to reduce the AHI numbers and the RERAs. Not sure how much more but probably at least 10 cm.

Thank you for the image help and looking at my stats. I understand better about the leak results based on your comments. Tolerating up to 9cm now so we'll see how the results are this week and adjust, thanks again!

slow and steady wins the race. or at least, it did for me.

by the way, when you get time, would you mind putting your equipment in your profile? once you do that, it will show up at the bottom of each of your posts, as it does on mine. thanks!

Hi, I went to my profile and went to edit profile, then equipment, in drop-down I don't see my machine, maybe because it's old (2014)?
Philips Respironics System One (60 Series) RemStar Pro with C-Flex+
Does this also mean my humidifier is 60 series?
Every time you have a comment this noob will have like 5 questions, lol.

someone will be along to help with your equipment listing. i know that some models don't show up in the list as one would expect them to.

This forum is hosted by cpap.com and all equipment items in the equipment drop down menu are tied to what cpap.com currently sells so if they are no longer sold at cpap.com or never were then they won't be offered in the equipment menu choices.

The PR System One 60 Series Pro machine is no longer offered at cpap.com because it was discontinued several years ago.
They do have a few of the humidifiers for System One machines though so some of those are still offered.
And yes if you have the 60 series PR S1 Pro blower your humidifier is the 60 Series humidifier.

When equipment isn't offered in the drop down menu we just tell people to manually type it in the comments section box...see where I have my back up equipment listed in mine.

A long time ago discontinued equipment still showed up in the equipment menu but there was a software update a few years back and the links to old equipment choices didn't work and now the discontinued items don't even show up.

Thanks for letting me know the reason for the machine listing and the relationship to cpap.com, I updated in additional comments. Just got an oximeter that should work with oscar so looking forward to trying it out tonight.
