Looking for the perfect FFM

Post by bwexler » Mon Nov 11, 2019 1:52 pm

Occasionally I need a full face mask when my nose is stuffy.
I have been using the F&P HC 431 with the chin rest.
Most of the other FFM I have tried wind up with the lower portion in my mouth, like a bit in a horse's mouth.
I can't tolerate any mask that touches my nostrils, especially when I am stuffed up.
I also don't like stabilizers on my forehead.
I know I have probably ruled out 95% of the masks out there. Can anyone help me find the needle in a haystack, when I don't even know where the haystack is.
When my nose is normal I use the Sleepweaver 3D or the Dream Wisp. I like both of them.

had the same problem with the f20 , mask would ride upward and lower lip would be outside of mask . wife made me a single strip Velcro fastener with sewed loop at one end and Velcro fastener at the other . I leave the velcroid end fastened to lower strap one side and then slide the other strap thru loop on other strap under my chin . it helps keep mouth closed and mask doesn't ride up . have had great success for a week now using this method . other people use a chin strap. good luck finding something that will work for you. I don't believe there is a perfect mask from my experience just some work better for you than others .
