clogged nose

Hi,
wearing a nasal mask and having my nose very often clogged due sinus problem im wondering if i could add some drops of Eucalyptus essential oil into my water container?

It's never been advised to add anything to the water.

But you can add some essential oil to a cotton ball and place it right behind the air intake so that the incoming air has all that aroma.
Don't forget to place the cotton ball on something to protect the wood if your table top is wood or anything that oil could damage.

It's what I do when I want some sort of aroma therapy.

Do you have clogged sinuses all the time or just when wearing the mask? Asking because some people have problems with a mask sitting across their nose and compressing the airways. When I had that problem it felt like severe congestion but it was actually obstruction from the push of the mask. Others have to experiment with humidity levels as the sinuses can react when they don't like the level of humidity being used. Even it's an already existing sinus issue, maybe playing around with the humidity can at least help a bit.

Thank you all for your inputs,I already use Flonase,suffering from nasal pollips blocking air flow and lost of sense of smell and already had surgery for pollips,I will try PUGSY suggestion and keep you inform of any progress,hoping im not alone in this situation.
