Arden hose stand versus HoseBuddy

Post by alexander » Fri Aug 16, 2019 9:44 am

I have previously owned an Arden hose stand. Unfortunately I got rid of it along with some other CPAP equipment when I stopped treatment a few years ago. A couple of days ago I got a SleepStick in the mail, but I had some issues with it. I’m considering some other options, preferable products that have been on the market for a while, but I’m open to new products as long as there are no serious flaws with them.

I’ve ordered the latest version of the Arden stand, and it hasn’t been shipped yet, so I guess I still have some time to change my mind. Anyone who have tried a few of the most popular ones?

To me it’s important that the stand is built to last, stays in place, and that it is suitable for a side sleeper. I’m not too concerned with price, nor how travel friendly it is, although I prefer to be able to use it while traveling.

I’m a side-sleeper too, and I use a Hose Buddy at home. It’s very sturdy and stays in place. For travel, I like the Arden collapsible stand, which fold up into a very small, light packet.

Sounds like you’re returning to treatment—congratulations! There are such good people on this forum who are ready to help if you run into snags. Meanwhile, best of luck!

Thanks for your help and encouragement. Seems like I could need both of them. :)
