New Cpap headgear and mask

Post by Lostfan1 » Tue Aug 13, 2019 10:42 am

Where is the best place to go get supplies. I need headgear replacement and mask where I usually go costs me $170. Is there reputable place cheaper? I’ve been without my CPAP for two weeks now and I really need to use it. My headgear broke and my mask should be replace

Thanks

I use ResMed AirFit F10 full face mask extra small

You can purchase at cpap.com, the sponsor of this forum, Amazon, or eBay. I have purchased several items from eBay without any problem. Why do you need to replace the entire mask? The frame should never wear out unless you manage to break it, some how. Cushions and head gear are normally readily available on eBay.

I just want to interject a word of caution.
I thought I bought a mask on ebay from an individual.
I paid with paypal.
Did not get mask and reported situation to ebay.
Individual replied that he had talked to me and I had told him I was in Canada visiting my sister. "Said mask was in the mail" and would be waiting for me when I got back. Liar. Never talked to him. Never been to Canada. No sister in Canada.
I continued to contest him with ebay and won.

If you need a mask in a hurry, buy from reputable source. Like Okie bipap said "cpap.com" is as good as they come.
Otherwise you can get them cheaper elsewhere.
Just be wise.

The headgear is worn out I’ve had to add extra Velcro. The mask is ok but could be replaced but the frame is broken. Well actually a piece of hard plastic broke where the headgear hooks on to it. I’ve had it for about 3 years.

Thank you for all your work input!

You can get most all the parts of masks on Ebay, and the more often replaced things like headgear and such on Amazon.

Thanks so much I’m placing an order and my headgear is so worn I’m not sure what size to get. My mask is extra small. I can’t find my paperwork anywhere. Any ideas how to find out what size?

There's a sizing guide available for most masks if you have a printer.

I know my mask size just not my headgear size. Is it the same?

What color is/was it? Might give you a clue if it was pink....pink is the same size as small blue.
