Looking to trade for travel APAP
Looking to trade for travel APAP
I'm looking to get the z2 APAP or dreamstation go. I have a airsense 10 autoset with 13 hours on it with the travel bag, hose, manuals and power cord in great condition.

Bump, willing to throw in a dreamwear Nasal cushion fit pack to sweeten the deal if needed.

You might consider contacting SecondWind.com to see how much they would give you for your lightly used Autoset S10, and then see about purchasing one of their lightly used Travel APAPs . . .
Machine: ResMed AirSense 11 Autoset
Mask: Bleep

They aren't accepting them at the moment and said to reach out in a few weeks to see if they need more then.beautifuldreamer wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 11:35 pmYou might consider contacting SecondWind.com to see how much they would give you for your lightly used Autoset S10, and then see about purchasing one of their lightly used Travel APAPs . . .

Perhaps an option you could pursue is keeping your new AS10 autoset and to help shrink the size and weight down that you could delete the water reservoir and replace it with a side bypass plate.
My spouse was considering getting a travel unit. She liked the AirMini BUT found the P10 with humidx setup so noisy that she said she’d rather go with a dreamstation go with humidifier instead. Problem was with the DS GO w/humidifier setup was that it wasn't much smaller than her existing her AS10 Autoset. It was far cheaper and more convenient for us to consider using her home machine with a side bypass plate for a measly $20. The AS10 autoset setup can further be made more compact by using a non climate line slim line tube.
The advantage to you is you get to keep your brand new unit. It will accomplish everything a travel unit can do and is a much quieter setup. The noise from a travel CPAP can be quite noticeable compared to a home unit.
Something to consider.

I'm going to be traveling soon and I also like to camp a lot and going to try and get back into hammock camping where a smaller machine will be a big plus. I would really like to get the HDM z2 because of this.
I do understand it won't be as quiet or nice as a regular machine but I'm ok with that trade off.
I do appreciate you bringing up those points though that many may not have considered.
