Doing the happy dance!

Post by Mimmie » Wed Dec 06, 2006 8:50 pm

I had to take my machine in for repairs because of the E-47 error that happened last week. They gave me a loaner until mine can be repaired. The morning after not using the jellyfish was awful.

Since I was given my machine and the jellyfish, I have only been able to use it while I slept in a recliner. I just could not use it laying down and would rip it off during my sleep. I could not use the ramp at 4, 5 or 6. I just take off on 13 and go to sleep now. I usually get 4-6 hours of sleep in the recliner.

The happy dance is because last night I goat everything together and went to bed. 8 hours later I woke up, with the mask still on and I felt GREAT all day! I am so happy!

I can not believe that I can finally sleep all night with the jellyfish stuck on my face and a hurricane blowing up my nose! amazing.

I go on the 14 for a sleep evaluation. I am hoping that the stats will be as good as I have felt today. Amazing. Thank you for all the input and so much help. Mimmie

Congrats on your successful night! You may have just gotten everything to finally 'click'. I hope this is the start of successful treatment for you!

Hate to sound totally ignorant here, but what's a jellyfish?

So sorry, I call my mask a jellyfish because the very first night I used it, that is exactly how it would feel on my face!

WHEW! I'm pretty new to all this stuff and I'm just beginning to pick up on all the terms...................but "jellyfish" was one I'd not heard. Now I feel better! Thanks.

Mimmie, way to go!!

"Jellyfish" is a good nickname for some masks. LOL!! I've called a few of them worse names.

Congratulations, Mimmie.

Mimmie's mask, the Mirage Activa has a habit of pulsating on your face, and has been described as a "jellyfish" or "a lovesick octopus"... Its apparently a very tenacious mask too.
