A while back I posted questions regarding surgery and CPAP that attracted quite a few responses. The surgery went fine and the CPAP wasn't used. Similar to one of the responders, my anesthesiologist said he would control my breathing and throat during the surgery; I would be awake in a very short time afterward, sitting up; I would be observed during that time; and they would rig me up in recovery if needed. I had my Aura/Everest ready and put together (I didn't believe they could do it easily) but it was as predicted and I was fine.
I'm glad I asked on the forum as I don't like to go into stuff blind. Thanks to those who responded.
--As an aside, the weirdness I mentioned regarding the Everest when first fired up has it going back to cpap.com for a look over. Great service!
