Dizziness

Post by wishbone » Mon Jun 17, 2019 12:40 pm

I have been using CPAP for 5 years followed by several sinus infections but recently it has caused me to feel dizzy during the day, like some kind of vertigo or motion sickness, so I ordered some motion sickness pills hoping that will help. Iam 59 years old and take blood pressure medicine. It has nothing to do with blood pressure, its in my head, a sudden movement like getting up to fast can cause it or working outside, its aggravating. In the name of Jesus I command all dizziness to go away.I sleep well on CPAP. I would die without it. Iam not kidding about that, I would die.Can.t get no, satisfaction, no,no,no.

Please see your doctor and be evaluated for BPPV.

It has nothing to do with cpap use. First time I ever had it really bad I was 15 years old and 40 years before I ever needed cpap.
If BPPV is indeed what you have going on there are some maneuvers that can be done to get those crystals back and place and stop the vertigo.

Agree that it is most likely positional vertigo. Physician workup is important to rule out serious issues. The exercises cited by Pugsy work well for me.
