Do you take the mask off before turning the machine off?

That explains the spikes. Nothing out of the ordinary then.

Great, one less thing to worry about, can you see much different in the two night sleep I posted as night two was a lot better. Both look nearly the same to me ?

Upping the min pressure seems to be helping , only woke twice last night. Might try to up it a bit more to see can I sleep all night for once.

Your numbers are excellent.

As far as upping the min pressure again, you can't make the numbers any better. However, some of us get a slight suffocating feeling with pressures around 6.0 or lower. Min 7.0 or 8.0 usually takes care of this.

On another point, sleeping all night without an awakening may be an unrealistic goal. Two or three awakenings per night (without restroom trip) are normal if you fall back to sleep fairly quickly.

Don't forget good sleep hygiene. CPAP fixes breathing. Sleeping may need other changes.

I think the figure 4 is the ramp pressure, the first night the ramp was set to 4 and min pressure to 4 the next next nite I upped the min pressure to 6, it has stopped most of my waking up. I’m happy with this result and according to sleepyheads report my ahi last night is 0, that’s as good as it gets I’m thinking which is a big improvement on where I was a week ago. Thanks everyone for your advice I now think it’s unlikely I have plmd which is also great. Best thing I ever done was joining this group.

I’m back to update everyone who helped me about my progress. First I would like to thank everyone who replied to my question you have been a great help. As advised I increased my pressure but I found when I went over 12 with the full face mask I got a lots of leaks and eventually I found that mask suffocating. I changed to a p10 nasal pillow and taped my mouth and have found this great. My ahi is always under 1 , my setting are 13 to 20 with exhale relief of 3. I do still wake at night for toilet but only 2 or 3 times which is a big improvement from 4 to 6 times, My headache are gone along with the fatigue. Thanks again for a great forum with very helpful and knowledgeable members.
