It only records true data when you are asleep, not while awake playing with the machine. Jim

Thanks, Jim. As an add on, how does the machine register me as having a high for me AHI (9) when I haven’t fallen asleep yet, am lying in bed quietly, not overbreathing, and not thrashing around or twitching?

Because you're not breathing evenly while awake.

And slower, with less volume. You are probably moving around more also. As like the saying sleeping like the dead. Jim
