Advise on O2 concentrator?

My sons doctor wants to pipe some extra O2 into my sons CPAP at night and we’re scheduled to pick an O2 concentrator up tomorrow. Any advise on what to look for, questions I should ask? Are there brands/ models that are best or ones that we should avoid?

That would depend on who's paying for it, and how, and the selection they sell. Google can help you hunt and compare brands and features. Jim

Some are noisier than others.

Googling for 'quiet oxygen concentrator' will give you a list.

I've got experience with a Respironics Everflow OPI (do get the OPI version, it tests to make sure that the thing is making oxygen), and the Invacare PerfectO2. both are very quiet, though you can hear them... the Respironics makes a little pfft pfft sound every few seconds, and the Invacare kinda purrs and thumps every few seconds... but they're quiet enough to drown out with a fan.
