Good afternoon,
Been a lurker for awhile. New CPAP and still getting used to the mask, but I already feel better. I dont wake up tired. No matter how much sleep I got I would never feel rested. Now I dont have my daily headache and I feel like I can function. Already only three days in, my thinking is clearer. I am having some libido problems that I hope some restful sleep with CPAP can turn around.
I would like to think I am getting a good start, but would welcome some insight into my sleepyhead data.
Here is the sleppyhead data for Monday night.
3rd night on CPAP

Re: 3rd night on CPAP
You might want to try a slightly higher min. setting, e.g. 7 or 8 to see how things go even if they look pretty good now. And if you're consciously aware of any leaks, you might want to look at Padacheek.com to see if you think the liners might help to fill in any gaps. Any reason your max is at 15 rather than e.g. 20? Also, do you happen to sleep in such a way that your head tends to fall onto your chest, thus possibly narrowing your airway? If so, maybe try a soft cervical collar that would keep it more upright and also your jaw closed if it tends to fall open and lose air that way.
Re: 3rd night on CPAP
Yes, I agree with raising your min. Your AHI is pretty good, but it appears you're still snoring.
As far as raising the max, you're at 15 and you haven't gone much higher than 11, so it would probably have no effect.

Welcome to the forum.
The snores are signs that the airway is still trying to collapse...it doesn't seem to be progressing to a full grown apnea event though so probably just a little more minimum pressure is all you need to reduce those snores.
The maximum doesn't really matter much what it is unless you spend a lot of time pegged out at the maximum...it's the minimum pressure setting that does the bulk of the hard work and is more critical.
All in all you are doing extremely well for just 3 nights and you even got the posting format down pat. Good job.
I am thinking 6 or 6.5 for the minimum and see how it deals with the snores.
