It was hard as hell, but now I won't sleep without it....

been lurking for a while but i just recently registered.

I just want to thank the posters here with all the good advice.

It took me a good 2 months to get used to it. the Ah ha moment for me came when i realized this : just put up with any uncomfortableness of the mask because in 5 minutes you will be out like a light and sleep until the morning alarm goes off.

I was too fixated on getting the mask just right and all that. yes it is import to get right fitment but for me i just came to terms with the fact that sometimes i feel and sound like darth vadar.

anyway thanks again. I do have some questions but i will make some other posts with more specific questions.

Yes, easy to think things have to be perfect. I finally figured that out too. I used to want to lower my AHI. But then realized I don't feel any different if it is a 1.5 vs a 0.3. In fact some of the best sleep I have had is with higher AHI.

It is all about getting good sleep, not how low your leaks or AHI are!
