Mask Seal Leak and Other Problems

Post by jwoceanside » Mon Mar 18, 2019 12:05 pm

Been using CPAP for 3 months and continue to have bad results reference to "Mask Seal". My average is 35 10/20 L/Min

During past 10 days replaced tubing, filter and mask and made sure no leaks

Made sure Head-gear isn't too loose or too tight. And fits according to the machine standards

Made sure my tank is cleaned daily

Use distilled water

I also use chin strap and/or mouth tape

Events 1-2

Pressure 4-18

Sleep 5 hours per night

Take 3-4 naps per day unconditionally

Very rarely get up during night

Have zero energy

My neck has been greatly effected since CPAP start-up date. Need to take MRI and ENG. Currently on pain and dizziness medication, including lower back

Wake with bloody nose

Cramping and Spasms a 10

The Mask Seal info was just a lead-in more serious problems, which started 3 months ago.

Thanks
Jack

Need Sleepyhead Charts...Your profile says you have a fixed pressure machine yet you say your pressure setting is 4/18

And without knowing WHICH mask you are using, it's hard to help you with a mask seal issue. Please fill in your user profile or at least tell us which make and model of mask you are using and if you are using a mask liner or anything on your face before donning the mask.
