OT: Sometimes CRAP happens...

Post by HoseCrusher » Fri Mar 08, 2019 10:59 pm

I am reminded tonight that we all only have a "moment" in time and need to make the most of it.

I had a friend that was going through some very difficult times. He also was using CPAP, or actually BIPAP. I helped him through many "skirmishes" and was able to help him enjoy a higher quality of life.

I was beginning to think I may actually know enough to help someone else...

I now understand that "I know nothing!!!"

Cory's wife called me to tell me that Cory had died. He just stopped breathing.

We had just been talking about the Trilogy machine, but it appears it was too little too late.

Make the most of today because tomorrow has some uncertainty associated with it.

Sorry for the rant. This just pisses me off... I am going for a walk now to clear my head.

I am sure you did help--just not as much as you wanted to.
Much is out of our hands.
We can only do so much . . .
Be grateful for the little you could do, as I am sure you did your best.
And you did it with love--the greatest gift.

Thanks for your kind words.

The family (wife, son 11, daughter 13) is handling this well and moving on. I am too.
