Hello Everyone!
Thanks to all here I have purchase a low hour machine and downloaded Sleepyhead!

I have set the machine up and "slept" one night and would like to share my data for review. I realize this is just one night with a new machine but I am an old pro after 15 years with various machines. This will be the first time I have data!!

I have a sleep study coming up in a few weeks which will be helpful as well. It has been 10 years since my last. I do not access to that data. *Note* I cant seem to lose the pie chart. I check the box but the prompt is so big I cant access the bottom of the screen to apply it!? Any ideas? So because of that I will have to post 2 screen shots. I have read through Pugsy's info (THANK YOU) and hope I am doing this properly. This is my first post so forgive my writing and potential failure to adhere to stuff.

I do understand my data is not good. Like I said, first night with the machine. I did feel as though I was "sleeping" and do not recall any wake ups until the last 2 hours or so. I know I am not getting good sleep and its starting to take its toll on me over the years. That is why I am here!
Thank you all in advance!

Not sure why your appearance box is so big that you can't see the "OK" button to lock in the change...mine is probably 1/4 the overall screen size. I don't even know how to make that box bigger. Something weird with your desktop resolution maybe???
Not a critical issue though...we can work around it if we need to...like with a little snippet of the statistics if we need it later.
How did you sleep last night? Sleep solidly for the most part or awakened often for whatever reason?
If you slept fairly solidly with minimal wake ups...you need a little more minimum pressure....like maybe 10.
If you slept horribly, fitfully with lots of fragmented sleep then a lot of what you are seeing might be false positives and the fix would be get better quality sleep.
You might want to go here and learn how to distinguish real events from false positive awake/semi awake breathing flags...commonly called SWJ or sleep/wake/junk.
I have had nights with AHI of 4 ish and not a single event was real. Pressure changes won't help SWJ.

Hi Pugsy
Thanks very much for your response! I felt like I slept good. I usually wake up after 4 hours or so but not this time. In the recent past, with my PB 420e I would wake up gasping, heart pounding as if it was stopped and starting again when I woke up!

But I found this forum and raised my pressures and solved (I believe) that problem. I will use that link and continue to read and learn about SWJ. I have been feeling really tired during the day in the past year. I understand this could be more than a few issues...Age....and such..but I always had a feeling that I was not sleeping well and do on occasion remember my wake ups which number between 2-4 times. Not with gasping or heart stuff but a general eyes open...poof..I am awake. I get back to sleep but the fragmented sleep is not good. Glad I can now track my sleep patterns now and sure appreciate your help and the forums wealth of knowledge!

I will up my minimum pressure and will share my sleep study results along with my dailys soon!
Much appreciated!!

A few wake ups aren't a big deal unless you can't quickly go back to sleep.
Actually it's normal to wake up after each REM cycle is completed....most of the time the awakening is so brief that we don't/can't formulate a memory of it though. In general I tend to assume if we remember 5 awakenings we probably had at least 5 others we don't remember. The ones we don't remember don't hurt us too much but when you have a lot of both then the restorative powers of sleep don't get a chance to work their full magic and we don't feel so good the next day even if that AHI was near 0.0 with nothing else flagged.
There's simply more to getting good sleep quality than just the numbers.
I have done the zoom in thing through my entire flow rate and spotted 20 to 25 arousals (sometimes even more)...no flags associated with them but definitely not asleep breathing. Not a big surprise that I feel like crap the next day in spite of some pretty near perfect graphs and numbers. In my case I know the culprit...pain from arthritis so I work on that issue separately.
Sometimes people just have a bunch of spontaneous arousals and they don't know why....those are hard to fix because we don't know what needs fixing to reduce the spontaneous arousals.
So when you post your reports to share and for member input....please also add how you think you slept and how you feel because those subjective feelings are just as important (and sometimes more important) than the numbers by themselves.
