Does the XPAP need maintenance?

Post by Doodeedoo » Fri Nov 17, 2006 6:34 pm

Is there manufacturer's recommended maintainance work performed? As any device it must be subject to wear out and likely needs cleaning and tuneups.

If so, what is the frequency, that is, to be done after how many hours of use?

Any experience on this?

Other than cleaning and/or changing the filters and dumping the water from the humidifier "periodically", there's actually nothing in the category of "maintenance" that needs to be done to these machines UNTIL (or IF) something goes wrong. There are error codes that POSSIBLY will appear in the LCD screen when something occurs. The specific error code will determine the severity of the problem.

Best wishes,
