Aircurve 10 ASV Questions

Post by bwexler » Sat Dec 22, 2018 4:46 pm

I just received my slightly used Aircurve 10 ASV.
Ot seems to be working OK. It also seems much gentler than my PRS1 960 ASV.

When I try to view on screen statistics, I can't get the screen to light up.
I have tried a quick touch of the HOME key, Holding the HOME key for an extended period.
Pushing the knob. Holding the knob.
Pushing the HOME key and the knob at the same time.

What is the right solution, or is something broke?

turning on "essentials plus" in the clinicians menu will give you summary average data up to one year under the Sleep Report "More Info"....like days used, days 4hrs+, Avg. usage, Used Hrs, Pressure, Exp. Pressure, Leak, Vt, RR, MV, TgMV, AHI, Total Al.

Best to use sleepy head software for data.

I did turn on essentials plus.
I have been using SleepyHead for many years.

I was looking for a quick spot check when I don't have time to take the card to the computer and forget it there.

I did read the user and clinician manual. I was looking for the wisdom of this crowd to tell me why my fingers won't light up the display.

Yikes, I have never seen the display light not working on any Resmed S9 or AC10. Hopefully there is a solution here somewhere. Best of luck.

That's a great idea.
But I think I'll wait until Wednesday, since Monday is Christmas eve and they will probably be in the middle of a long weekend.

On mine I push the button to light it up and select sleep report and push the button again and it's bright to read your report. I always have mine set for one day.

Are you in a dark room ?

Maybe the light sensor is a bit dull ? The machine should light up when you stop treatment by pressing the stop button and also display the sleep report.

Make sure you only press the power/treatment button once on to for a short period of time to stop the machine otherwise it goes into power save mode (where the display is off)

My answer was in the manual, once I paid attention.

About the control panel
Start/Stop button
Press to start/stop therapy.
Press and hold for three seconds to enter power save
mode
.
