You haven't said if you mean nonstop all night or nonstop all day as well? And how long has it been going on? Have you seen a doctor? Not eveything is Cpap/Osa related.

I agree with you that not everything is CPAP/OSA related. This thinking is counter to the position of many Forum experts that OSA is not only correlated but also causative of all health problems.

It’s mainly during the day especially after I wake up in the morning.

Mouth is always dry.
This is an indication of mouth breathing. As little as five minutes can make the mouth very dry. You could try using a mouth gel just before you strap on your mask. I use this one - https://www.amazon.com/GC-Dry-Mouth-Gel ... 1699&psc=1

my tongue and throat hurt
The throat pain could be due to dryness from mouth breathing. I don't know what would cause the tongue to hurt. Please keep track of this. If you don't have a solution or know the cause within a few days, please have a doctor examine your tongue and throat.

When you know more, please update the thread. (Gramps is talking to me, and I almost typed "update the throat". teehee)

Any change in medications that might tend to cause extra dry mouth or dry throat issues.
Added any new meds? Changed dosage on old meds?
Having more nasal congestion than usual and thus maybe mouth breathing more? Mouth breathing will dry out the mouth and throat even with humidity set to max.

It sounds a bit like thrush.
Sometimes the "natives" get restless.
The bullfrog and I made some extreme garlic bread.
It was delicious, but it threw our oral flora into a tizzy.
Garlic is an excellent germ killer--killing even the good ones.
