Hi everyone. Noob here.
I got my cpap back in March. Works great for me. I was severe and I'm down to events in the decimals. Even though I am female they never offered me a 'she' version. Does it really make a difference?
My main problem is when I need to dry the tubes out in a hurry, I do a mask fit so that air cycles in the tube to help clear the water. Eventually it seems to kick into ON mode and then it screws up my data. Then i have ridiculous numbers showing up. Anyone notice this issue too?
Clinical mode only gives the option to erase all data.
Is there another way for me to erase the erroneous data?

No, selective editing is not possible.
There is no need to dry the hose if you only wash it right before bedtime.
Many of us rarely wash the hose anyway.
If left attached, with the mask hung up, what can possibly get in there?
The female version is slightly different--I had to wait an extra month for
a special order--my DME did not have it in stock.
Some do not like to do special orders, but I was stubborn--and said I'd wait.

If drying your hose is your "main" problem...you are home free. Great job....Forget drying the hose, it will just get wet again when you start the machine.....DID YOU KNOW...that ResMed machines keep running at a very low pressure for about 15-20 minutes after you turn off the machine. That is to dry out the hose. IMHO, there is no reason to wash the hose on a regular basis.

Re: Resmed airsense 10 data and some extra questions
I don't wash it on a regular basis. I was getting ready to go to bed, dried off my tank, which I normally airdry. It wasn't as clean as I thought and also not so new so I got a brand new one out of the box and cleaned that one.
When I turned it on after changing the filter and the tank, I felt the air coming to me was nasty. Decided to open a new hose and change my headgear while I was at it.
I rinsed the hose and wanted it to dry right away to again, limit the tap water in it going towards my lungs. Normally i'd let it air out but i needed to be in bed earlier.
I think it's a bug that mask fitting leads to ON mode, especially since the mask is not fitted properly.
Thanks for letting me know that the data cannot be removed for one day. I thought there might have been a way through a pc and a custom made application.

Re: Resmed airsense 10 data and some extra questions
The programming for the mask fit function allows it to run for three minutes, then it will switch to the run position. Resmed figures three minutes is long enough to adjust the mask. If you run the mask fit for just a few seconds, the machine will go into the auto cool mode which blows low pressure air for 10 to 15 minutes. I often use the mask fit option to give me time to get into bed and get situated before the machine switches to the run position and start tracking events. During the mask fit, the machine does not register events nor does it track leakage number. It only gives you a smiley face or a frowning face.
