I'm going on a trip to Ireland this winter, and I don't know if my cpap machine will work over there. How do I find out?
Thanks,

Cpap Use in Europe
European CPAP
Hi! I figured that kind of information would be in the manual, but I didn't get a manual with my CPAP either, so I searched for the manufacturers website and found one online. My CPAP is by Respironics, their website is http://www.respironics.com - duh! You might try adding http://www....com to the maker of yours.
Machines in Europe.
I have a Respironics Machine that automatically switches the voltage when you plug the machine in. I called them and specifically asked about the device. Never had a problem. I'm hoping to travel all over by train next summer using it.
I was thrilled!

Check the serial number tag on your machine. If you see "110 to 240vt" it means the machine can be used international. You may need the wall adapter you would use for a hair dryer or electric razor, but that is all.
Always keep your paperwork for cpap machines and supplies with your machine or in a medical record file for reference.
