Hello All,
First time poster. We have a hurricane coming. Any suggestions on a compatible battery backup for my cpap?
I see plenty on Amazon.com and Cpap.com but I'm confused if they will work with my machine.
Thank you for any suggestions!
Battery Backup suggestions for S8 Resmed
Re: Battery Backup suggestions for S8 Resmed
I normally recommend a deep cycle battery such as the one listed about 12 posts down in the thread listed in my sig. However, on short notice your best bet might be a marine deep cycle from a West Marine or (cheaper) a Walmart or Costco.JamesAbbott wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 6:28 pmHello All,

The other problem is that you'll need special 12V adapter for your ResMed pump. A quick search yielded this:

You'll also need a "cigarette socket" to go on the battery - about $10 on Amazon, but you can probably get it at Pep Boys, etc.
