dreamwear ffm tip.

Post by lliann » Sun Aug 12, 2018 1:16 pm

So....I googled, got some ideas. Used a neck brace with the ffm and got a .04 leak. Happy with that. Also prevented the dry mouth. Another idea was a boil and bite. I will try that in a few days.

What is a boil and bite? Is it not rather awkward or uncomfortable to wear a neck brace to sleep along with all the CPAP stuff on your face?

Not a big neck brace but instead some people use a soft foam cervical collar to help support the chin/jaw.
It can be uncomfortable for some people but not for others. A lot depends on size and type of cervical collar.
Just another one of the many things cpap users do and use that have that YMMV sticker on it.

I bought a "Dr Dakota Eliminator" online at Amazon and I prefer this one because unlike a travel pillow which has the same girth all the way around your neck, this one has nothing around the back, but the attachment strap. It also has soft felt to cover up the backstrap. The memory foam is reinforced on the chin size and my neck cannot slip down. It quickly improved my snoring, and improved my numbers. A good investment for about $25.00 (American)
