Hoping for Sleepyhead Advice/Recommendations for CPAP

Post by ccualumni » Thu Jun 28, 2018 6:48 pm

This is my first time using Sleepyhead and I believe I set everything up correctly. I feel exhausted every day and never feel rested. Everything in the software looks like I am doing well.

The only real problem I can see is that I don't get enough sleep. I usually wear my mask the entire time I sleep, so if you see 4 hours or more, I used it the entire time.

Thank you in advance.

Looks like you have some of the event flags turned off in the Events Graph....look down at the bottom left corner of the graphs for "Flags" click on the little arrow to expand the menu and any that you see red/black...click on it to change it to green/black.
No need to redo this image for me anyway. Just mentioning it for future reference.

Do you take any medications of any kind? If so, what?

We all know that 4 or 5 hours of sleep is not nearly enough. How many times do you think you might be waking up during those 4 or 5 hours? If more than 1 or 2...any idea why?
Why can't you sleep more than 4 hours? Mask issues? Insomnia issues? Wake up and can't go back to sleep? Why?

No one can expect to feel the good numbers with just 4 hours of sleep. Doesn't matter how good the numbers look...it's not nearly enough sleep.

My biggest problem is simply getting to sleep. I often go to sleep at 1 or 2 in the morning and get up at 6 or 6:30.

I usually take an Ambien each night to help me sleep, but I still struggle to get to sleep. I also take allergy medicine (drops, which are like getting shots) and Vrapimil for migraines. The rest of what I take is mostly vitamins.

Based on my graphs, do you see any problems other than me just not getting enough sleep?

Thank you very much for the help.
