Doug, on the thought of circadian rhythm problems in general. If you did any time-zone travel over the last year or two, you might want to look up your own posts to see if you slept poorly during those dates because of time zone travel.

Not only does DST skew my sleep rhythms, but so does time zone travel. I recall NightHawkeye once posting that he relies on first-day sleep deprivation to resynchronize his circadian rhythm after traveling across timezones. I made a mental note to try that, and completely forgot about it until just now.

SWS,

Last night I switched to the Vpap III plus did a PO reading (just extracting that now).

The vpap III data was almost pristine - AHI 2.8, AI 0.2, HI 2.6 with only 1 apnea of 10 secs scored in 1st 30 mins of sleep & about 7 low hypops for the night. I did run the machine in CPAP mode.

I will try 10/13 Bilevel tonight.

But, switching to CPAP certainly solved all & any of the confused synch stuff that was occuring (on the PB330).

It was the fact that the PB330 went into this 'fighting synch' pattern 3 mornings in a row that seemed so odd.

Thanks
