1 week in, question about my mask

There is little to no air blowing from the seal of my mask, but there is a steady stream blowing from the hard portion right where the bridge of my nose is at. There are no cracks noticeable in the mask, but what appear to be several tiny holes at that location. DreamMapper is reporting no major leaks.
Is this normal for this type of mask, or do I need a replacement?

That is normal for your mask. The small holes allow carbon dioxide to vent from the mask. All masks have vents for the carbon dioxide.

And to spell that out - don't block the holes or you'll end up rebreathing CO2... you don't want to do that.

That's exhausting the CO2 from your breath...You would be asfixiated if it wasn't there.

This a problem with many masks. The exhaust ports are where they decide to put them, they can't be moved (except by changing to a different mask where they are placed differently). I always wanted the option to attach an exhaust hose that can blow them somewhere else, perhaps in close proximity to the CPAP (but not near the intake).
