Traveling with CPAP to Mexico
Traveling with CPAP to Mexico
Has anyone traveled to Mexico recently with their CPAP? If so were you able to take distilled water and what was the customs process? Thanks!!!
Re: Traveling with CPAP to Mexico
Just use bottled water IMO.

Just use water. That's what the manuals in other countries say.

On any foreign trip, India or Mexico, I just used bottled water.

Be Kind, take a couple of illegal aliens with you, one could carry your distilled water, the other could carry your XPAP.

Re: Traveling with CPAP to Mexico
I recently went to Chile and just took a gallon of distilled water in the checked-in luggage. It was no problem. Carry-on would probably not work.
Something to think about, depending on where you are going, is that not all places have stable electricity. My cpap was shutting off regularly (luckily just glitches, and once for half an hour).
If you're somewhere more touristy that's probably less of a problem.

Re: Traveling with CPAP to Mexico
Thank you for the responses. Anyone have issues getting the cpap through customs? Specifically in Mexico but any info is appreciated.
Re: Traveling with CPAP to Mexico
No issues. I done two trips to Mexico City in the past 12 months.
