Anybody know of another mask that uses a cushion like CC?

Post by Bamalady » Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:25 pm

I really like the ComfortCurve cushion, but would like to find a mask that has a smaller barrel and one that vents differntly than the CC. I have been looking but can't find one. If anyone knows of one, I would appreciate the information. I will leave a link to what the cushion looks like. It fits just under the nose.

I will check back. Thanks.

Bamalady, I don't know of any other mask that has a cushion designed like the ComfortCurve's -- to be worn exactly at the front of the nostrils, with nothing above the tip of the nose and nothing going even the least bit inside the nostrils. Perhaps someone else knows of one. Good luck!

I was rather dissappointed when I first experimented with the CC since it required plumber's tape to stop joint leaks and sat awkwardly on the face, however, upon trying it again a few months later, I find it to be the least invasive, most comfortable interface I own.

Rested Gal....thanks for the reply. I was afraid I wouldn't find another. If I had another barrel, I would try to warm it and bend it a bit, but can't mess up the one I have! The cushion is definitely for me.

Anon....... I tried others, but could never get my nares to stop be sore, even with the tips here. Others left red marks on my face.

I wonder if a CC II will be introduced at some time??
