Ok, now I know how to access my efficacy data on my ReMed AutoSet Spirit., and I know what the abbreviations mean.
But, and there's always a but, what do the results mean? Instance my AHI is 2.9. Does that mean 2.9 in an hour, a night, or what? Is that the obstructive events I had or the events that were successfully treated and prevented? I assume that I want it as close to 0 as possible.
What does everyones (on the forum) typical data look like (AHI, HI, Leak, etc..)?
Just trying to understand and compare.

Jeff,
2.9 is per hour. 5 or less is considered good. These are the ones that slipped by and went untreated. Many people that feel their Auto-pap is working well for them have data that shows and AHI of 1 to 3. The leak measurement is machine dependant. If you graph the data on a computer it will show the max leak line. Below that line and the machine is compensating for it.

2.9 is per hour, but it is averaged over the time that you slept.
Leak on Resmed are in Liters per Second. Respironics units are in Leak per minute. So, any comparison needs to have that taken into account.
