stupid question

how do you get to the pages of this forum such as page 100 or 120 without having to go through all the pages. I like to read the old postings but its so frustrating to have to go page by page. we should be able to type in the page number we want to read. does anyone have an idea. thanks, pat

There seems to be about 50 threads per page, so you can use the link:

viewforum.php?f=1&topicdays=0&[b]start=12050[/b]

and set -->
start=n where n=(my page number I want to go to' - 1 ) * 50.

Want to go to page 10? Set start=(10-1=9) * 50 = 450 so you would use
viewforum.php?f=1&topicdays=0&start=[b]450[/b]

That will get you in the ballpark.

Maybe there is a better way, but that's all I see for now.
