I just read that a study done on apnea patients indicated that the problems with short term memory typically don't get better when OSA is treated with CPAP (they weren't saying that any other treatment did work, just that "treated" meant with CPAP). That is something I was really hoping to see improve soon!

However, short term memory is often used as a criteria for SA determination...

Now, you might ask, how can 2 doctors come up with completely different conclusions? Well, without knowing all of the conditions of the studies it is VERY difficult to say.
