I deconstructed my Aura. Thanks, RG, for talking me into it! It seems like it'll be soooo comfy. I'll let you all know how it goes after I finally get to sleep with it. And I'll try to post pictures over the weekend, when I have some time.

Good for you, College Girl!
I never dared do it - because I don't have another one, and just this week I was very glad I didn't.
Because I slipped
And sprained an ankle
And fell on my face (right side) and what's the word for what you do to you knees when you fall as a child? Anyway, I did that to my cheek at the cheek bone,
And got a small cut just beneath my eyebrow ( 3 sutures...)
And had a wonderful, un-deconstucted Aura for use, touching my nose, and nothing else!
I doubt I could have used any other mask.
O.

So sorry to hear you fell, ozij. I think the word you're looking for is "scraped" maybe? I hope you heal soon! Glad the Aura works for you that way.
I found a secret to extending the velcro on the headgear to make it fit smaller heads:
Buy some velcro tape with adhesive on the back.
Cut it to size and stick it in front of the loopy part of the velcro on the headgear (you're expanding the length of the velcro that's attached to the headgear, not the strap part).
Realize the adhesive on the velcro won't stick to the material of the headgear.
Try several other kinds of adhesive that don't work.
Staple it.
Voila! (it actually works, and the staple gets sucked far enough into the plasticy material that it doesn't get caught in my hair or my scalp! )

Haven't tried it yet. Long story short, I slept til 6 pm last night and so haven't been tired yet. And now I have class, work, etc. so it will be tonight after 8 pm when I can try it out.

Oh, and I'm not that adventurous - my insurance company will be buying me a new mask soon, and they don't know it yet, but they're buying me an Aura.

That's it! "Scraped". Thanks CG.
And yes thank you, CG and SelfSeeker, I'm feeling better daily.
