For Those Who Tape

Post by robz » Sun Dec 24, 2017 10:56 am

I'm part of the club.....I tape and where a chin strap.....But, there are still leaking problems thru the mouth.....when I take the tape off in the am, it is moist with water......So my concern, is glue from the tape possibly getting into the mouth......I know there are not many options out there.....just curious for those who tape, what your thoughts are......

I tape, not so much for air leakage but for teeth grinding. I am using nexcare tape for sensitive skin - it is light blue. It doesn't pull off skin. If I get up during the night, I take it off and when reapplied, sticks quite well. Occasionally, I slobber. I rip it off dry it on the sheets and reapply. Sounds gross. Never got any indication the glue comes off though.
