Leaks vs Ahi

When I had my sleep study done, the tech gave me a Quatro Air (large). When I saw the dme rep to give me my machine, he told me that the large was too large so he gave me a medium.. That medium full face mask made the bridge of my nose sore and my lower teeth sore so I switched back to the large. I've been using that large with a liner for months with success.. I've been having a problem with an abscessed tooth so I loosened the mask..
Loosening that mask made the leak numbers go up to 16.4, but my ahi is still below 1 (0.3)

My question is , does the ahi that low make the leak unimportant in the scheme of things.

Last night I slept 7 1/2 hours uninterrupted .. No nocturnal visits to the loo!!!! It was wonderful--it was the first time I slept through the night... I just might conquer this!!!!

Sounds like you are fine....low AHI and sleeping well
