Comfortlite 2..Any takers..Its up for grabs!

Post by needingu » Mon Oct 16, 2006 1:23 pm

I just received my new Comfortlite 2 and tried it on 2 times..The headgear is entirely to large for me. I have a small head and narrow in length forehead making the gear come down on my eyes. I saw so many recommendation for it on this forum with people loving it and no other, so gave it a try.

Now if you are interested in purchasing this PM me. I tried it on with the small pillows twice and decided I could never make it fit. Never used sleeping. I will deduct the cost of that small pillow and there is a med. and large pillow never opened. Will send the samll as I will not have any use for it.

I hoped I could return since it was never used and the pillows still in unopened plastic. Called cpap and was told when the package is opened it is never returnable..So BEWARE if you buy something.. decide before you open the package that you either want it or don't. Never even look at it..I learned
this today..

aS YOU HAVE "BOUGHT" IT NOW ANYWAY WHY NOT GIVE IT MORE OF A TRY before you sell it. it's not as easy for women to get a good mask fit it seems. You can make lots of changes easily to it.

I didn't get along too well with the headgear, think it squished up my head, but there are fixes for that on line, a peice of velco or a strap between or something. so I will try it again sometime.
BUT I took the blue headgear off and chopped the legs off some panty hose, guess I must have cut the legs somewhow as I have 4 peices attached to the mask and I tied them at the back, so far I have never had to retie them. I find it works well and is very comfy. I also use a soft strap, or stocking leg to tie around the nose piece as I do not find that it adjusts quite far enough in for me, a problem for some other people too.

Just recently I got an extention for the hose , mask hose, and took off the swivel and installed that, so far it's ok, I found the swivel clunky but others don.t mind it. Of I wish I can do a
Rested Gal fix later and cut most of the swivel off, somewhere there are pics of this operation, they may even be up on one of the very recent posts I think.
I like my Breeze best but the CL2 is a pretty comfy mask in that you can side or back sleep with it. I don't squish the nose peice adjustment about as I don't like messy adjustments that don't come in increments. I made a real pigs ear of it one night!
