ResMed S8 Elite - does anyone need a BU?

Post by JimW159 » Wed Nov 29, 2017 4:27 pm

In winnowing my xPAP collection, I found my first machine: a ResMed S8 Elite with H4i humidifier. I have not used the unit for several years, replacing it early with the S9 Elite when it first came out. Following that was an S9 Auto, following this were two AS10 autos that I use now. Rather than have a bunch of machines of dubious historical or collectable value, I would prefer to pass them along where they can be useful. Both S9s are now gone, leaving the S8 and a Respironics (560?) remaining. If someone still uses an S8 Elite and would like a back up, it is yours for shipping costs only. I will sort through it and provide full details (hours, components, etc.) when requested. Regarding the Respironics unit, I will inventory its components and get it out as available soon.

Update:
The S8 is actually an Elite II, not an original Elite. As best I can determine, it has about 5800 use hours - I don't know if this is total run time or therapy time only, it doesn't seem to differentiate.
What is included is the travel bag, power cord, slimline hose, and several filters. It is missing a SmartCard, though.
