Oh, it will happen...I have no doubt. Too many people with some really strongly opinions on things and "heated" discussions will happen. That's a given.
What will happen when things become heated will depend on a case by case basis when things get too "heated" and the thread involved. OT topics are pretty much going to be left alone and let people duke it out as they wish within some very broad guidelines. OT topics will be more of a "read and respond at your own risk" type of thing unless things get way out of hand.

The adage "attack the message and not the messenger" will likely come into play often.

Soon after I got here, lost and desperate, he sold me my first autopap at a real good deal, and continued to hand-hold me through the adjustment period. I think I was his pet project for a while. The chat room was a big part of my feeling like this was my online family. When the chat format changed and to become not so user friendly I felt the loss. It used to be compartmentalized and easier to follow. Anyone remember how in chat we could select our font color and it made it easier to follow who was talking? I was clueless though. Found out later there was some "hooking up" going on. lol
Yeah, I too think I had a special connection to Snoredog -- not just because of our similar opinionated stubbornness, but also because we both shared the same experience of having our fathers take their last breath in our arms when they died.

My cpap brother....so kind of you to ask.
As I said in a post long ago, that time has passed.
There are plenty of others to attend to those tasks.

I am still a daily presence here, though. Cpaptalk continues to be,
for me, a microcosm of life. The ebb and flow to be viewed everyday.
Very hard to let go of something so powerful it can save lives, mine included.

Some still here...... you, Den, DS ( the first to welcome me here), snoredog.
..and the green man, GumbyCT, that was kind enough to give me the 2x4 upside
my head......will never be forgotten.
I would wager a guess that I am the one and only person in the world that
still uses Sleepguy's full head gear papcap every night.

I guess it is one of life's harder lessons, that eventually, things change and
they will never go back to being the way it was. Has been for me.

I'm still out on my bike. Building stuff. Growing stuff.
Making the most of all that I have been given. Grateful! Life is good.
Carboman! Always great to read your poetic compositions.
When you find the urge for more stuff, please share your words and lesson here.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Snoredog's posts were so welcoming that I felt close to him when I first joined.
Didn't realize he had already passed until a couple of years in.
It just proves that the good we put out there lives on.

Nope. The PapCap is a key part of my success at pap’ing. I’ve worn out two. Who knows, I might have learned about the PapCap from you many years ago. If so, I thank you sir. Earl

Very cool! I can not even fathom cpap w/out my papcap.

The papcap was too loose for my petite skull, so I modified a biker bandanna,
which fit better, and could be adjusted for bulkier, permed hair.
