HELP-Need a products location in Orange County, CA

Post by justmerenee » Fri Oct 13, 2006 10:11 am

My husband has just been disgnosed with the "WORST" sleep apenea you can have-the dr. told him that he is close to a heart attack or stroke-BUT-since my insurance doesn't medical equipment-they left it up to us to find everything. I am scared to death that inbetween this time-something is going to happen to him. He wants the opportunity to look/feel and try them on.

Can anyone help me?

I would try going to something like the yellow pages at yahoo.com
and do a search under "oxygen". Most of the places that carry oxygen will also carry CPAP equipment.
You could call those places and see if they carry CPAP equipment and get a feel for them over the phone.
You could also call your doctors office and get a list of places from there. Most doctors offices will obviously have worked with various providers in the local area and can provide you with that information.
You can also look in your local phone book under "Medical Equipment" and call those companies.

Your doctor's office or the sleep lab should have been able to refer you to a supplier.
