Removing mask in the night
I find I am removing my mask in the night an cannot remember doing it. What do you do to stop this?
Re: Removing mask in the night
It's very common, but it helps to know more about why you might do it apart from just having a 'strange' things on your face at the start of Cpap. Do you wear your mask extra tight (trying to stop leaks)? Bad idea... better to get one fitted well that's comfortable and doesn't create even new small leaks from overtightening, or wear a mask liner (Padacheek.com), or just use tape on the cheek straps (if a FF mask) so that you'll wake up enough to adjust things and go back to sleep with the mask on. OR, your pressure settings might not be ideal, but to know if that's a problem you need to tell us what those are set at, which machine (full name) you use, what mask, etc. etc. We need something to go on.

That used to happen to me also, when the pressure was going too high. what helped was lowering the pressure, and also disabling the "auto turn off" feature, so the sound and feeling of rushing air would wake me up again until I put the mask back on.
