Rather than drone on about how I came to CPAP, I'll start with my major issue. If I go 2 nights, maybe only 1, without my CPAP I get very ill for 4 to 7 days. Explosive vomiting sick. I have yet to find another CPAPer with the same issue. Is there anyone else who experienced anything like that?

There should not be anything like the connection you made re Cpap and other symptoms and you need to see a doctor to look into the vomiting. It's far from a 'normal' problem and I can't imagine what it has to do with Cpap.

Never heard of this. See a doc and find out whats going on. Only thing I can think of its a mental thing . A subconsious reaction when you dont have the cpap on. Not an expert-- just sayin'.

Dr. if I hit my thumb with a hammer, it hurts. Doctor: Don't hit your thumb with a hammer, that will be $50 for the office visit.

Use your XPAP, every time you plan on sleeping, no $ 50 needed. Jim

I do recall from the past ( BC = before CPAP) if I only got 1 or 2 hours of sleep I would be both headachy and nauseous. But never to the point of any kind of vomiting. How many times have you repeated the test to see how repeatable the nausea is?
