Has anybody noticed?

Post by Wulfman » Tue Oct 10, 2006 11:27 am

If you haven't noticed.....and I just did.....our forum hosts slipped in a new "button" up above the topics section.....called: "Newbies Click Here"

Pretty cool.....check it out!
Most of the topics so far are by "Mile High Sleeper" and her marvelous site.

Best wishes,

Ditto!!

This probably would have cut the two months worth of info I have learned from all of the posts on this forum down to a couple of weeks.

Who is Mike Moran?
Is he the only one who can or does post humor since his name is there?
There is nothing else there - now THAT's funny

I hope the info on that link isn't just a straight lift from the Canadian Lung Assoc. info. everyone suddenly found out about last week... Looks so similar (the index, anyway), but there's no 'recognition' or mention of how it just suddenly came together (just a few days after the other posting).

New Features

Just noticed the new options, and look forward to seeing new additions to the categories. To the guest asking if Mike Moran is the only one on here with humor - no, but he's the only one with a book about it. If you want to read some other postings, search for posts maybe under poem, limerick, or humor to see some "old" humor.

Seems to be a better version of the cpapopedia - it has taken its place. Now all we need is a good icon for it.

Babe in the woods?
Person tearing out their hair?
Life saver? (is that what they call those tubes\wheels for drowning people?)

Congratulations!

thanks for the accolades

Thank you, thank you all, I love the praise!

No, it's not all -or any- lifted from the Canada site. It's almost all my own experience and from my reading hundreds (thousands?) of cpaptalk postings over months of time. And from poster requests like "I wish we had a list of why to use APAP to show my doctor."

My family doctor is using these articles with patients. I wish there had been articles like this for me when I started; that's why I wrote them. Please share the link for Our Collective Wisdom far and wide! Please point newbies in that direction for the basics. After they read it, they can ask their individual questions for targeted advice from forum members.

The list of topics is a wish list, too. I have a few more short articles to write, but Johnny really welcomes more articles on all the topics or other topics you may add.

The real thanks goes to the many cpaptalkers who offer such valuable advice to newbies, and to those who coached and supported me.
