You sure are good at spewing. We have no way of knowing.TedVPAP wrote:I like your experiment.Doublev wrote:Your experiment is flawed. At rest the pillows are at or near max size. In your nares part of pillows might push against nose and with pressure it will seal. I believe the recommendation is for pillows not to be too big for nares but there does seem to be some sealing effect for me. I guess my pillows are about the same size as my nares and not smaller.palerider wrote:
All it takes it for you, or anyone else with a pillow mask to *TRY THE EXPERIMENT*.
I just tried this — removed straps and my pillows stayed on with pressure. It didnt take much to pull it off but clearly there was some sealing. YMMV
Hey palerider, you are silent. Are you still doubtful???

Re: 22 over 15 pressure
My Opus 360 nasal pillows (large) seal between the nostril and the round base of the pillow. Higher pressure presses the pillow against the nostril for a better seal but also makes it very sensitive to slight movement due to hose pull or headgear shift. With pressures higher than 10cm routing the hose over the head using the attachment works best for me.

Re: 22 over 15 pressure
Have a look at the Pad-a-Cheek anti Leak strap - it doesn't work for all masks
I find it works well with a high pressure (18)
