Registering and posting

Post by A Mess » Sat Sep 30, 2017 6:50 am

Have registered twice in 5 weeks. Thought the first time did not work. Message last week from some one that they are very far behind in getting newbies registered. Does anyone know why some reply posts just do not show up on the forum board?

This most often is caused by User Error. Mostly when the user thinks they have posted something without ever pressing on the "Submit" button. Be sure you are pressing on the "Submit" button after pressing on the "PREview" button.

If this doesn't show up then I haven't followed my own advice but if it does I have followed the above advice to completion.

It does show up. But pressing it seems to not work.

It worked this time--but lately it does not work all the time.

Why would you want to iron your post?

And by "it" you are referring to the "PREview" button not the "Submit" button.

Accept it for what it is, we all do or have done it.

It's an indication your therapy is not optimized or effective.

If someone happens to post *while* you are typing your reply, hitting submit will cause a preview screen to come up, showing the recent reply *and* a preview of what you have typed to date. This requires that you hit submit again in order for your post to be finalized, but it's easy to overlook it and return to the forum thinking it's been posted already. I've done it before myself.

*AND* when the *user* selects the Browser *BACK* button it can cause this very same problem.
