I have the Philips REMstar Auto A-Flex. For the past few nights it will not turn on right away. It beeps, turns off, waits a second then tries to turn on again. This happens maybe 5 times before the machine finally turns on. It happens with both auto-on and pressing the dial. Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?
I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

Re: Philips REMstar Auto A-Flex not starting
That's an old machine (I have one for backup). Is yours an M-series or a Legacy? Do you know how many hrs are on it, how many years it's been used full time? Isn't it time to get a new machine (an auto, with full data capability)?
Do you not have insurance? There are lots of ways to get machines without it or even without a prescription.
Have you tried just unplugging and replugging?

Re: Philips REMstar Auto A-Flex not starting
Hello, I have recently had the same problem with the machine taking a few goes to start up, and more lately it has stopped working during the night... I have noticed that the red end on the power cord, where it plugs into the machine, has ever so slightly broken off so the connection is not as secure and efficient as it should be. You can buy a new power cord if you are living in America but I have had a lot of trouble over here in Australia. This could be your problem. I have stopped using the damaged cord as I don't feel it is safe. Good luck!
