CPAP air leakage

Post by Missing teeth » Mon Oct 09, 2006 7:46 am

I have worn a CPAP mask for over two years and always had trouble with air leakage. Have a partial plate and discovered that if I wear it to bed the leakage decresses. Is the a safe practice. Or is there another soluction?

This works for me also. If I need a break from the partial, I put an old chin-strap over the top of my head and under my chin. This creates "chipmunk cheeks". The "chipmunk cheeks" work every bit as well as the teeth, but
the chin-strap makes my face a bit warmer.
+ Aussie heated hose.
