Things that are annoying now may be barely noticeable over time.
Same here on both of these!

I too sometimes feel like it's filling up my lungs a little. I think that's intentional. Its definitely supposed to inflate your airways! Go easy.

Yeah, I'm debating again whether to use the machine tonight, or wait until the doctor has a chance to adjust the settings tomorrow. This will be the first adjustment made since the machine was setup last Wednesday.

I think it was kteague that mentioned 'gale force winds.' It made me feel better to know that such strong gusts of air are not unusual. But the last few days I felt so much worse than before starting the treatment - great difficulty thinking at all, not functioning hardly at all.

I'm also having some difficulty with the Swift FX, in that the hose is only pain-free in a couple of very specific positions (it's the tip of my nose that is in pain - it's been really sensitive to pressure ever since some surgery I had as a kid). It's such a shame 'cuz I love the pillows and this will be a great mask when/if I need to sleep sitting in a recliner. Had to do that once with a shoulder injury. But right now, the workaround is not conducive to a good nights sleep.

Lol! Yeah, I'm really curious to see what the doctor does to the settings tomorrow, if anything. Maybe that is a good reason to use the darn thing tonight, so he has more data to go on.

It doesn't seem right for a couple of folks to repeatedly follow another forum member into random threads with the seemingly sole purpose of ridiculing and harassing him (her?). Kinda reminds me of my older brother - constantly baiting and harassing until his target gets so enraged that it attacks him. He did this to me as a kid; still does it to roosters and cats. He'll bait a rooster until it flies up and attacks him, he'll catch it under the wings, holding it helplessly and just laughs and laughs. Goofproof reminds me a lot of my brother.

Me too. Maybe we can be friends after all.

I do wish we could have a more civil board. How 'bout it? I bet you have some cpap knowledge and experience to share.

It would be nice, but all humans aren't friend material, most of us here are old folks, we have lived and seen the difference, we have opinions that aren't going to be changed.

A few people truly come here for help. A few are here just to start trouble and keep it moving.

It would help if people could just read the 1,000 of posts here, then if they need help, start a new thread and ask a question or search farther.

I am at a little of a disadvantage, my machine is 12 years old and still does it's job as well as on day 1. I don't use Sleepyhead. I use the factory software, I live by K.I.S.S... I don't need the latest and (Greatest???) I only need what works, the reason it works is because I made it work, not working wasn't a option. We all could use more self control, but in today's world it's in shorter supply that it used to be. The World moves faster now, but not better. Jim
