Is it too late to add more encouragement? First, kudos to your wonderful husband!!! What a delightful thing to come home to.

My first mask was the Dreamwear, which was so comfortable - but, as you discovered, when you turn to your side, it can be nudged out of place just enough that you have air blowing onto your cheeks and into your eyes. My two favorites are the Nuance and the P10. For me, they make a better seal and aren't so easily dislodged.

Do you use hose management? Many folks here either use hose hangers or drape the hose up over the back of the bed so that the hose can rotate freely as you move around in bed. (Sorry if you've already received this advice.)
It's never too late to offer encouragement! I appreciate the suggestion on managing the hose! I will definitely look into it. Thanks!

It's already been said but I'll add my two cents. You are going to have good nights and bad nights. Eventually, the good nights start to outweigh the bad nights, and finally the bad nights come very few and far between. There will come a time when you just put on the mask and go to sleep--no anxiety or difficulty. It becomes routine. It took me MONTHS to get there, but I did. And my first machine and mask set up were (as I now know) very uncomfortable. I now have a much nicer machine and mask and the bad nights are really, really rare. Yes, I do have them, but they stack up as puny against many hundreds of good nights and much improved health.

Keep Calm and CPAP On.
